My research topics are about effects of human activities on dynamics of organic matter, nutrients and sediments as well as biota and food webs in aquatic ecosystems (rivers, estuaries, etcc). I am also interested in how to enhance application of knowledge from ecological and geochemical studies to ecosystem management and environmental engineering.
